Healthy, delicious black bean brownies, packed with protein, and chocolate. The perfect treat without any guilt.
Brownies
- 1 15 oz. can drained and rinsed black bean brownies
- 3 large eggs
- 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup pure maple syrup or honey
- 1/2 cup gluten free chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 3 tbs. gluten free flour
Toppings
- 1/2 cup walnuts (optional)
- 1/4-1/2 cup chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
Drain and rinse the beans
In a food processor or blender, blend the ingredients, except the chocolate chips
Transfer the batter to an 8 x 8 pan, and stir in the chocolate chips
Top with additional chocolate chips and walnuts if desired
Bake for 30-35 minutes
Let cool and cut into 12 squares
